Why Show Me Evidence Exists…

What is Show Me Evidence?

Show Me Evidence is a place to keep proof that your life, habits, relationships, work, and internal patterns are actually changing. It's not for goals, tasks, or gratitude journaling. It's for recording what happened — one line at a time — so you can read it back later and see the change for yourself.

What counts as evidence?

Anything concrete: something you did, something you didn't do, something you noticed, or something that felt different from before. One sentence is enough.

Examples: "Said no to the extra meeting." "Didn't chase the text." "Paid the invoice on the day I sent it." "Noticed I wasn't spiraling."

Is Show Me Evidence therapy?

No. Show Me Evidence is a reflection tool, not medical care, therapy, crisis support, or a substitute for professional help.

How do I get started?

Open Capture, type one sentence, and press Save. That's it. You don't need to interpret it or categorize it.

Come back later and press Show Me Evidence. That's where the app reflects your own history back to you.

Want to see it first? How it works walks through example moments, tags and a reflection.

What happens when I press Show Me Evidence?

The app looks across your past moments, surfaces older ones you may have forgotten, points out patterns in your language, and writes a reflection about what actually shifted. It's the emotional payoff: the meaning-making happens after you capture, not while.

Do I need an account?

No. Guest mode keeps everything in this browser. If you create an account, your moments, reflections, and settings can come with you across devices.

Can I edit or delete moments?

Yes. Every entry has an edit option and a delete option. Your words are preserved exactly as you wrote them unless you choose to change them.

What are tags?

Tags are personal categories that help you find evidence by topic. The app may suggest tags based on the meaning of what you wrote, and it learns from which suggestions you keep or remove. You can also add, rename, or create your own tags at any time.

What are reflections and perspectives?

Reflections are written summaries of how your evidence has changed over time. Perspectives are alternative ways of looking at your history — for example, reasons you might be right, reasons you might be wrong, or a completely fresh angle.
